Enjoy!

  1. Please introduce yourself briefly.
Hi, I’m Pingu, otherwise known as Yannick, I’m a tournament grinder, seen at alot of the major european tournaments. I’m mostly known for my unique laugh and enthusiasm 🙂
  2. How do you feel about the Legacy format at the moment?
I would say currently legacy is in a relatively healthy place where alot of different strategies can excel and co-exist.
However, there’s a large focus on tamiyo and how to effectively handle it, I think the format would be more fun without that card being the main focus.
  3. How do you think Lorwyn Eclipsed will affect Legacy?
So far the only card I’ve seen which might be playable is vibrance, I think in the right R/G lands shell it could see play. However overall I think Lorwyn Eclipsed will have little impact on legacy.
  4. What is your prediction for the top decks/top cards/players to watch out for in the LotusVale Series V?
My prediction would be that tempo, eldrazi and izzet artifacts are going to do well, because having a pro-active gameplan in legacy is the place to be right now. Honorable mention: tempo doomsday.
  5. What has been your experience with the LotusVale Series so far?
I have loved being at the Lotusvale Series, it’s a great tournament, it’s run well, overall the german community is very fun to play with and most importantly…. having a „kneipe“ next to your play-area is awesome. I would highly recommend checking it out with friends and having a weekend-trip.
  6. Would you like to add anything else?
    Noot Noot

Thank you very much, Pingu and we wish you good luck in the upcoming events!
