Seid gegrüßt liebe Magic-Community,
es ist uns, dem Team des LotusVale Bochum, eine große Freude, euch endlich verkünden zu können, dass wir im Januar 2024 das erste großes Event, die LotusVale – Series, in den Flottmannhallen in Herne zusammen mit euch zelebrieren dürfen.
Im Folgenden findet Ihr vorerst alle wichtigen Informationen zum Event. Fehlende Daten/Zahlen/Preise werden in Kürze auf unserer Event-Homepage (Lotusvale-Series.Lotusvale-bochum.de) hochgeladen. Wir bemühen uns sehr, dass bis Ende Oktober alle für euch relevanten Informationen dort verfügbar sind. Sollten aber noch weitere Fragen offen sein, könnt ihr uns gerne persönlich im Store ansprechen oder einfach eine kurze Mail an kontakt@lotusvale-bochum.de senden.
Zum ersten Mal für ein Event werden wir mit einem digitalen Ticketing-System arbeiten. Auf unserer Event-Homepage könnt ihr direkt die entsprechenden Tickets zu den einzelnen Tunieren sowie der Command-Zone erwerben und euch damit die Teilnahme an einem oder mehreren der vielen Events sichern.
Um up-to date zu bleiben, schaut also gerne dort immer mal wieder vorbei!
Wer:
Wir sind der WPN Premium Store LotusVale aus Bochum, besser gesagt Jonny & Eugen. 2019 eröffneten wir den in Deutschland einzigen auf Magic the Gathering spezialisierten Local Game Store. Nach vier Jahren und zahlreichem positiven Feedback seitens der Community fühlen wir uns in der Entscheidung bestärkt, den nächsten Schritt zu gehen und ein großes Event auf die Beine zu stellen, damit es nach langer Abstinenz wieder einen Ort im Jahr gibt, an dem sich die zahlreichen Communities aus ganz Deutschland zusammenfinden und an einem Wochenende ihre Lieblingsformate spielen können; ganz egal ob competitive oder casual!

Die Location ist sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Von der U-Bahnstation Berninghausstr. sind es ca. 10 min Fußmarsch. Die U35 ist an den Bahnhof Bochum sowie Bahnhof Herne angebunden. Die Buslinie 312, die auch vom Bahnhof Herne startet, hält direkt vor der Halle.

Samstag / Mainevent / 10:00 Uhr: Standard Qualifier (für den LEC wird es mehr als einen Slot geben, wieviele genau wird noch geklärt)
Samstag / Sideevent / 12:00 Uhr: Modern
Samstag / Sideevent / 12:00 Uhr: Pauper
Samstag / ganztags: Command-Zone für etwa 80-100 Spieler
Sonntag / Mainevent / 10:00 Uhr: Legacy-Turnier mit mindestens 1 Slot für die European Legacy Masters 2024
Sonntag / Sideevent / 12:00 Uhr: Archon-Commander
Sonntag / Sideevent / 12:00 Uhr: Pioneer
Sonntag / ganztags: Command-Zone für etwa 80-100 Spieler
Philosophie:
Ob Grand Prix (letztes Mal 2012), Deutsche Meisterschaft (letztes Mal 2019) oder cardmarket-Series (letzte Mal 2019), es ist schon sehr lange her, dass innerhalb Deutschlands wirklich große Events stattgefunden haben, die den Großteil der Magic-Spieler angesprochen haben. Mittlerweile schreiben wir das Jahr 2023 und während bspw. in Italien bis zu 600 Spieler sich für die „4 Seasons“ Turniere zusammenfinden, kann man in Deutschland froh sein, wenn es einen Store Qualifier oder ein dezidiertes Turnier (ob Legacy, Duel-Commander oder PreModern Meisterschaften) in erreichbarer Nähe gibt. Hier und da gibt es zusätzlich monatliche Events, die aber lokal beschränkt sind und sich meist auf wenige Formate stützen.
Dies wollen und müssen wir ändern!
Uns ist es wichtig, dass die Spieler bei fairen Preisen und fairem Umgang ihrem Hobby nachgehen können. Wir setzen großes Vertrauen in unsere lokale sowie die gesamte Magic-Community und hoffen, dass wir mit eurer Unterstützung ein für alle tolles Event auf die Beine stellen können.
Schon während des Events und auch im Anschluss sind wir auf euer Lob, aber vor allem auf eure konstruktive Kritik angewiesen. Denn wie der Name LotusVale-Series es schon beschreibt, hoffen wir, Events dieser Art halbjährlich in den Flottmannhallen ausrichten zu können und somit wieder einen Anlaufpunkt für die Community zu schaffen, die auch gerne etwas mehr sein darf als nur ein paar Runden Karten drehen.
Wir hoffen, dass euer Interesse geweckt ist. Jedoch sind wir auf die Hilfe der Spielerschaft, also euch, angewiesen: Helft uns, damit wir euch helfen können! Sagt euren Freunden Bescheid, schickt diese Ankündigung rum und betreibt Mundpropaganda. Zusammen können wir ein großes und schönes Event errichten, an dem alle teilhaben können.

Greetings dear Magic community,
it is a great pleasure for us, the team of LotusVale Bochum, to finally announce that in January 2024 we will celebrate the first big event, the LotusVale – Series, in the Flottmannhallen in Herne together with you.
In the following you will find all important information about the event. Missing data/numbers/prizes will be uploaded on our event homepage (Lotusvale-Series.Lotusvale-bochum.de) soon. We will do our best to have all relevant information there by the end of October. But if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us personally in the store or just send a short mail to kontakt@lotusvale-bochum.de.
For the first time for an event we will work with a digital ticketing system. On our event homepage you can directly purchase the tickets for the individual tournaments as well as the command zone and thus secure your participation in one or more of the many events.
So to stay up-to date, feel free to check there every now and then!
Who:
We are the WPN Premium Store LotusVale from Bochum, better said Jonny & Eugen. In 2019 we opened the only local game store specialized in Magic the Gathering in Germany. After four years and numerous positive feedback from the community, we feel encouraged in our decision to take the next step and put on a big event, so that after a long abstinence, there is once again a place in the year where the numerous communities from all over Germany can get together and play their favorite formats on a weekend; no matter if competitive or casual!

Philosophy:
Whether Grand Prix (last time in 2012), German Championship (last time in 2019) or cardmarket series (last time in 2019), it has been a very long time since really big events took place within Germany that appealed to the majority of Magic players. Meanwhile we write the year 2023 and while e.g. in Italy up to 600 players meet for the “4 Seasons” tournaments, one can be glad in Germany if there is a Store Qualifier or a dedicated tournament (whether Legacy, Duel-Commander or PreModern Championships) in reachable proximity. Here and there there are additional monthly events, but they are locally limited and mostly based on a few formats.

It is important to us that the players can pursue their hobby at fair prices and fair treatment. We have great confidence in our local and the entire Magic community and hope that with your support we can put on a great event for everyone.
Already during the event and also afterwards we depend on your praise, but above all on your constructive criticism. As the name LotusVale-Series already describes, we hope to organize events of this kind every six months in the Flottmannhallen and to create a meeting point for the community, which can be more than just a few rounds of cards.
We hope that your interest is aroused. However, we are dependent on the help of the players, i.e. you: Help us so we can help you! Tell your friends, send this announcement around and spread the word. Together we can build a big and beautiful event that everyone can participate in.
